Ah, the age-old question: “What colleges have you attended?” Well, my educational journey has been anything but ordinary. I’ve walked the hallowed halls of academia, sure, but some of my greatest lessons came from far less conventional sources. Let’s just say my alma maters include a mix of ivy-covered buildings, the school of hard knocks, and an ongoing graduate program in “Multitasking Under Pressure.” Spoiler alert: I’m summa cum laude in that one.
Some places handed me diplomas and certificates; others handed me a heavy dose of real-world wisdom. I’ve mastered crisis management while wrangling toddlers, aced time management while juggling work and family, and learned negotiation tactics that could rival any business major—thank you, teenage debates over curfews.
Formal education has been an important chapter, but it’s not the whole story. I’ve taken courses that fueled my passions, from creative endeavors to personal growth, but the most meaningful lessons rarely come with a GPA. My classroom? Wherever I’m curious. My favorite professors? Life, experience, and the occasional persistent challenge.
So, yes, I’ve attended college, but I like to think my most valuable degrees are the ones framed in grit, growth, and gratitude.
