Thereβs something about a good brow that makes you feel like you have your life together β even if you’re literally crying in the car.
This is my lazy girl routine.
Fast. Forgiving.
And β letβs be real β one of the only beauty rituals I consistently stick to.
Because when youβre falling apart, sometimes all you can do is keep your eyebrows looking like you tried.
πͺ What I Use:
- Clear brow gel β because shaping is more realistic than sculpting
- Tapered brow pencil β nothing fancy, just something with a spoolie on the other end
- A mirror I can carry around the house while avoiding mirrors
π‘ The Actual Lazy Girl Routine:
- Brush up.
If I only do one thing, itβs this. I pretend Iβm being artistic. Really Iβm justβ¦ brushing my problems upward. - Light fill.
Not carving. Not baking. Not shading like an ancient fresco.
I fill in the sparse spots and tell myself symmetry is a social construct. - Set it. Forget it. Survive the day.
I use clear brow gel to lock everything in place β including my fragile sense of control.

π― Why It Matters (Even If It Shouldnβt)
I know, itβs just makeup.
But when your world feels chaotic, your brows can be tiny anchors.
There have been days I didnβt shower, didnβt eat, didnβt text back β but I still did my brows.
Because sometimes, a little order on your face makes the disorder in your life feel a little more survivable.
Thatβs not vanity. Thatβs resourceful femininity.
So no, I wonβt gatekeep my brow routine.
Because if youβre barely holding it together, but your brows are holding steady β thatβs a win. Thatβs power.
Thatβs Voguegenics. π€
