How do you use social media?

Oh, sweetie. I use social media the same way I use highlighter: excessively, strategically, and with no regrets.

Instagram? That’s my digital runway—part glam, part chaos, part “yes, that latte is my personality now.” Twitter (or X) is where I go to drop hot takes and cold truths, like how skincare isn’t self-care unless there’s a face mask, a candle, and a solid 14-minute spiral about your entire existence involved.

Pinterest is my long-term relationship. We don’t talk much, but she knows me. She knows my recipe hoarding habits, my midnight “let’s redecorate the entire house” urges, and she’s currently ghosting me for not uploading enough gluten-free soup pins. Fair.

LinkedIn? I drop in, say something clever about being a senior litigation paralegal and a digital empire builder, then ghost harder than a guy who “just got out of something.”

And TikTok? TikTok is where I go to pretend I’m 23 and understand what’s trending, while secretly filming voiceovers for my podcast in pajamas. (By the way, have you listened to the Gen V Podcast? You should. It glows.)

Basically, I use social media to connect, create, promote, vent, inspire, and occasionally—accidentally—go viral. It’s also how I:

✨ Announce new launches like The Voguegenics Crystal Journal
🧠 Share daily empowerment tips that might just change your mindset before your third espresso shot
🧘‍♀️ Drop meditative wisdom bombs via V’Luma
🛍️ And yes, lovingly nudge you toward my digital shop filled with tools you didn’t know you needed but absolutely do

So how do I use social media? As a soapbox, a spotlight, a support group, and a sparkly journal of everything I’m building—one curated Canva graphic at a time.

Also… for memes. Obviously.

Now tell me—how do you use social media? And no judgment if it’s just to watch raccoons wash cotton candy.

Dorey Duncan Scott Senior Litigation Paralegal
Hi! I’m Dorey Duncan Scott, a mother of three, wife and fashion entrepreneur. I started my career in fashion back in the early 90’s when I did print, still and runway modeling. I studied Fashion Merchandising, Music Business and Marketing, while also obtaining certificates in such industry-necessary areas such as make-up, styling and runway choreography. In addition, I had work as a spokesmodel for several brands, appearing in print and in person. As a former model, turned senior litigation paralegal, artist manager and on-air personality with a passion for fashion, beauty, and personal development, I bring a unique combination of style, strategic thinking, and legal expertise to my work. My years navigating the legal world have sharpened my attention to detail, while my experience and passion for fashion, beauty, and personal development drives my desire to help others feel empowered and help them in their journey toward self-empowerment. My experience in the fashion world has taught me the power of confidence.
