a Person Holds a Glowing Full Moon Orb in Their Hands with a Soft Candlelight Background Overlaid Text Reads lunar Rituals for the Spiritually Aligned and Emotionally Fried Voguegenics Branding Appears at the Bottom

Because not everyone has the energy to charge crystals under moonlight in a velvet robe.

Let’s be real:
Some nights, you want to do a full moon ritual.
Other nights, you’re just proud you remembered to take your bra off before bed.

This post is for those nights.
The chronically tired ones. The β€œI’m not even sure what day it is” ones.
The β€œI believe in moon magic but I also fell asleep face-down on the couch” nights.

And yet β€” you can still align with the moon, even when you’re running on vibes and caffeine.

πŸŒ‘ New Moon Energy (The Fresh Start That Requires Zero Effort)

New moon = new beginning.
But let’s not pretend you’re doing a 12-step intention ceremony in a silk kimono.

Try This Instead:

  • Text yourself a single word for the month ahead. (That’s your intention.)
  • Toss out one thing that’s been draining your energy (an old shirt, an app, a grudge).
  • Light a candle and say, β€œI’m still here.” That’s enough.

πŸŒ• Full Moon Energy (Big Feels, No Thanks)

The full moon brings maximum exposure β€” feelings, truths, under-eye bags.
It’s not the time to start new things. It’s the time to feel… whatever is bubbling up.

Try This Instead:

  • Sit still for 90 seconds. Let yourself not fix anything.
  • Write down one thing that’s been haunting your brain. Burn it, shred it, or just… let it sit.
  • Take a shower and imagine you’re washing off everyone else’s energy.

πŸŒ“ Waxing + Waning Energy (Spoiler: You’re Still Tired)

These are the in-between phases.
The ones that say: β€œDo something… but not too much.” Perfect.

Try This Instead:

  • Waxing Moon? Make a to-do list with just one thing. Do it. Celebrate.
  • Waning Moon? Clean out your inbox (or your soul). Same thing.

πŸŒ™ A Note for the Genuinely Exhausted

You don’t have to do everything.
You don’t even have to do it β€œright.”

The moon is not here to judge you.
It waxes, wanes, disappears, reappears β€” and still shows up.

So if all you do is look up and whisper,
“I’m trying,”
that counts as ritual.

Want a little more structure without the pressure?
Our Lazy Girl’s Moon Journal is full of rituals that meet you exactly where you are β€” even if that’s horizontal on the couch with a heating pad.
