What do you wish you could do more every day?

Oh, just casually sip a warm Lunar Glow Latte™ in complete silence while the universe aligns in my favor and someone else handles the laundry. But if we’re being real-real… I wish I could pause more often.

Not the kind of pause where you’re scrolling on your phone pretending to rest, or frozen mid-thought trying to remember if you replied to that email (spoiler: you didn’t). I mean a true pause. A moment of stillness where I’m not multitasking, overthinking, or sprinting through my to-do list like it’s a competitive sport.

Because the truth is, we’re always doing more. But the one thing we rarely do? Stop. Breathe. Feel the life we’re living.

I wish I could pause long enough to finish my latte while it’s still warm. To notice the way the light hits my favorite corner of the room. To hug a little longer. Laugh a little louder. Stretch. Reflect. Be.

So yes, more of that, please.
More being, less rushing.
More noticing, less numbing.
More life between the lines.

And okay—maybe more evenings ending in a sequined robe, face mask on, and the smug satisfaction of actually flossing.

Dorey Duncan Scott Senior Litigation Paralegal
Hi! I’m Dorey Duncan Scott, a mother of three, wife and fashion entrepreneur. I started my career in fashion back in the early 90’s when I did print, still and runway modeling. I studied Fashion Merchandising, Music Business and Marketing, while also obtaining certificates in such industry-necessary areas such as make-up, styling and runway choreography. In addition, I had work as a spokesmodel for several brands, appearing in print and in person. As a former model, turned senior litigation paralegal, artist manager and on-air personality with a passion for fashion, beauty, and personal development, I bring a unique combination of style, strategic thinking, and legal expertise to my work. My years navigating the legal world have sharpened my attention to detail, while my experience and passion for fashion, beauty, and personal development drives my desire to help others feel empowered and help them in their journey toward self-empowerment. My experience in the fashion world has taught me the power of confidence.
