Labeling it brings it into the light.


🔻 Step 2: Anchor to One Sense

Pick a single sense and give it your full attention.
Hold a warm mug. Run water over your hands. Smell a favorite oil.
Let your system dial down from DEFCON 5 to something more human.


🔻 Step 3: Use Your Voice

Say—out loud—something calming.
“I’m safe right now.”
“This moment is mine.”
“My energy belongs to me.”
Your body listens when you speak.


🔻 Step 4: Ground Through Pressure

Weighted blankets, hand-on-heart, a gentle body sway—anything that tells your nervous system, “I’ve got you.”
This is the somatic equivalent of a hug from the inside.


🔻 Step 5: Choose to Pause

This is your ritual. No one else’s.
Even five minutes of stillness can reset a day headed for collapse.
