Daily writing prompt
What’s your favorite candy?

If choosing a favorite candy were an Olympic sport, we’d be standing on the podium, sweating under the pressure, wondering if we made the right call. But today, we’re committing.

Gold medal winner? Reese’s Cups.

Peanut butter and chocolate are the ultimate power couple. It’s the love story that never disappoints. The ratio is perfect. The experience is unmatched. One bite, and you’re transported into a world where taxes don’t exist, and every latte is free. Honestly, if aliens ever land and ask what Earth has to offer, we’re handing them a Reese’s Cup.

Silver medal? Homemade Chocolate-Covered Cherries.

Not the store-bought ones, because we have standards. The real deal—juicy cherries wrapped in silky chocolate with just the right balance of sweet and tart. The kind that takes patience and skill, ensuring you feel like a chocolatier with every batch. These aren’t just candies; they’re a legacy. A testament to our ability to create joy with our own two hands (and a dangerously sticky kitchen).

Sure, we love other candies, but these? These are the VIPs. The A-listers. The reason we can never fully commit to a sugar-free lifestyle.

What’s your go-to candy? Are you a Reese’s loyalist, a Skittles wild child, or someone who secretly hoards those mystery grandma strawberry candies? Spill the sweets in the comments.

Oh, and fun fact—today marks 100 straight days of answering the daily prompt and posting! But we’ll celebrate that in a later post. For now, let’s all grab a Reese’s and bask in our deliciously questionable life choices.
