Ingredients
  

For Cookies

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Coating

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
  • In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until dough forms
  • Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes
  • Roll dough into balls
  • Then roll each in powdered sugar
  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes
  • Cool on a wire rack
