Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice
Beat in eggs
Gradually stir in evaporated milk
Pour the filling into the pie crust
Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes
Reduce the temperature to 350°F
Bake for an additional 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean
Cool on a wire rack
Serve with whipped cream if desired
