Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C)
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Beat butter, powdered sugar, and salt together until smooth and creamy
Gradually add flour, mixing until dough is formed
Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness
Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter or cut into squares
Place on baking sheet and sprinkle with coarse sugar or sprinkles if desired
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden
Cool on a wire rack
