  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Beat butter, powdered sugar, and salt together until smooth and creamy
  • Gradually add flour, mixing until dough is formed
  • Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness
  • Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter or cut into squares
  • Place on baking sheet and sprinkle with coarse sugar or sprinkles if desired
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden
  • Cool on a wire rack
