DIY Aspirin Face Mask for Clear Skin

This aspirin mask is a powerhouse for acne-prone and oily skin. Aspirin contains salicylic acid, which exfoliates, reduces inflammation, and unclogs pores, leaving your skin smoother and refreshed.

Equipment

  • pestle or spoon

Materials

  • 5-7 uncoated aspirin tablets crushed into a fine powder
  • 1-2 tbsp warm water to dissolve aspirin
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for hydration and antibacterial benefits
  • 1 tsp yogurt or aloe vera gel optional, for soothing and moisture

Instructions

  • Crush the aspirin using a spoon or pestle and dissolve in warm water to form a paste.
  • Mix in honey and yogurt/aloe vera if using.
  • Apply to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area.
  • Leave on for 10–15 minutes.
  • Rinse off with warm water and follow up with a moisturizer.

Notes:
  • Always do a patch test before using.
  • Use once or twice a week for best results.
  • If you have sensitive skin, reduce the aspirin amount and add more honey or aloe vera for gentler application.
