Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup corn syrup light
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • ¼ cup unsalted butte softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1 9-inch pie crust unbaked

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • In a bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla
  • Stir in pecan halves
  • Pour the mixture into the pie crust
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden
  • Let cool completely before slicing. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream if desired
